Our goal is to give students a voice in making decisions about food options on campus and flex dollar amounts. We believe that with more options we will ultimately reduce food waste on campus.
We advocate for:
-Chipotle,
-Jamba Juice,
-Panera Bread Co.
-MORE FLEX DOLLARS

The momentum behind this feels heavier than I ever anticipated. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the administration ignores us but seeing this groundswell reminds me why I started.

I'm allergic to chicken and since that's usually in most of there meals I'm left eating the same foods over and over again. I also don't see why I'm forced as a freshman to spend $6000 on food I can't eat or that upsets my stomach.

Since SMC is so isolated, and there are very few parking spots, most on campus students have no other access to food besides Sodexo and Cafe Lois, both of which are sub-par. Since we are paying $50,000 dollars a year we should be given the option to eat at least decent food. Especially on the weekends since Saga does such an awful job with the food during that time. The cafeteria food could be so much better, and our students deserve it.

This would be greatly appreciated. It is something that is on other campuses so it is about time SMC got on board with something all the UC's have on them. I'm not saying that all the food is nasty; I'm saying that more options will encourage other to attend this school along with create more jobs and a happier community.

Flex Dollars to Panera would be wonderful, as would more flex dollars. Since I have an unlimited meal plan, my Flex Dollars are pretty minimal.

Along with more flex dollars, general improvement in the food available in Oliver Hall would be appreciated by people who don't have a car and generally stay on campus on weekends.

How can there only be 1 choice (which serves disgusting food) on campus? Many other schools have double digit options.

Oliver is dreadful. The monopoly they have is unacceptable
