The quality of Cal Poly's food is sub-par. We are rallying support to change the quality of dining to match the cost that students pay.
Freshman Students at Cal Poly pay $4693 for their first year of dining.
Our Demands:
-Get Rid of Sysco, replace with healthier options
-CP produce and meats
-Farm to Cafeteria
-Change the Meal Plan system's time limits and meal rollovers.
-More health options with greater variety.

There is no reason we should pay so much for such sub-par food. UCLA and UCB have amazong dining plans and their stufents pay similar fees . CalPoly should care about the they are providing usm how can we be great students if we are jlnot provided with proper food and nutrients. the recent changes at metro are jaut a small step in the right direvtion, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
I've gotten food poisoning twice from Campus Dining. I feel like I have to eat to not waste my meal credits.
I mean, I'm not a freshman anymore, but I hated a lot of freshman year dining, so I'll sign.

Dining is the pinnacle of CP's money extortion program on students. Pretty sad the people in charge are so STUPID, even with 20 grand A YEAR from 20,000 students, they are still broke af. Get a new adminstaration CP. (California too, students shouldn't be shouldering our state's debt)

I have been so frustrated with dining. Even the higher ups in Campus employees don't understand it and its ridiculously priced. The time limits are a complete rip off. Its a real shame and disappointment.
