This crass move to pander to a minority at the expense of the much greater majority must stop. Chinatown allows drug dealers to sell in public and attacks lawful businesses and legal citizens because we pay our tickets. Outrageous!

Unrealistic DBc ceilings proposed by this bill and the fact that this bill is opposing the positive growth of the business' in the chinatown neighborhood is why I oppose this bill!

While I understand where the readings are proposed to be taken, what is to prevent other environmental factors to contribute to the levels? Typical outdoor db levels already begin above the proposed level. It is unclear where these proposed levels came from and what consideration was given to setting appropriate limits.

Kind of redundant when most officer's who would enforce this have squad cars louder than the imposed limits. This would kill tourism revenue and a part of our small arts economy as well...

This bill is up enforceable and stupid, a thinly veiled attempt at pulling apart a strong cultural scene in Honolulu to protect the rights of a few complaining individuals. It's unjust and based on flawed science.

This is an absolutely ridiculous bill that will kill the already struggling live music industry here. Not only that, but it will cause venues to lose business and face shutting down, if live music is unallowable and/or their liquor license is revoked. It is unenforceable, unrealistic, unjust, and uncalled for.
