This bill discriminates against musicians as these db levels are to low to allow for live music and are impractical.

I agree, live music has been dying in Hawaii, especially Honolulu. Yet, to be honest, bars and nightclubs have to address the matter of soundproofing their establishment if they want music. Music is an emotional response to those creating and hearing. To those wanting to sleep, music becomes noise. Yes, kill the bill, but create a bill for soundproofing establishments.

I play the drums and its unfair to have to drum in a hot club because of noise ordinance. Clubs should be able to house live music without worrying about a noise ordinance. That's plain ridiculous.
