It is an eyesore which spoils what is a lovely picturesque village and we can't believe it has been allowed to remain so for so long. The fencing poses a danger in high winds and the site must be a haven for vermin and the like. I feel so sorry for the residents and businesses that have to look on this eyesore on a daily basis.

What a real shame it's been allowed to be left in this state for so long, spoils the look of the village, it must be dreadful for other business and homeowners, such a prominent spot.

This has gone on for far too long. There is enough space for 6-8 much needed dwellings. One idea: Continue the building line of the existing High Street cottages, wrapping around onto Chester Road. With an arched access provided off the High Street, rear parking can be reached without causing traffic disruption on the busier road.

Such a waste of space, and an eyesore that I walk past with my little boy each weekend! Also attracts the wrong sort of people into the neighbourhood looking to set up camp!!

Living on High Street I see this every day. It has irked me for ages. I am at the point of saying I don't care what someone does with it as long as it is cared for. At the moment it appears to be a storage site for building materials. When the owner gets a dig to do something he turns up and potters around for a few days then leaves it once more. It is disgusting.

Maybe a nice seating area/ garden. At least put netting around it in the mean time!

It is a shame the Council has appeared powerless to change this eyesore, which we all have to live with. Perhaps the Council could consider some sort of print net fencing as an interim until they can get their act together to pursue enforcement?

I have approached our existing councillor on this matter and was told there was an enforcement order in place, but nothing has taken place, except a bit of stone walling, which is a new eyesore. Lets get it sorted soon.

I fully agree with the introductory statement.
This land should be used for commercial enterprise in order to improve the village amenities (restaurant / bar etc). It should not be re designated as housing as this would add no value to an increasingly large village.

The unsightly site in the centre of the lovely Gresford village is an awful eyesore & the authority should ensure that the owner makes efforts to rectify this.
