I am very concerned about health, privacy and safety issues associated with smart meters. I prefer to have an analog meter. I think the fees that PSO is charging for their alternative meter are too high, plus the alternative meter still has potential negative health effects.

You should be able to opt out and keep your meter at no cost. This business of charging someone for service they don't receive is fine for the government, but only enriches an operation like a monopoly utility co., operating under license from the state. My electric is provided by Edmond Electric.

We are on a rural electric coop that put smart meters in a few years ago without notification to customers. I questioned if smart meters had been installed as soon as I noticed a different meter number on my billing only to be told that they were smart meters and because it was residential account they were not obligated to tell people that smart meters were being installed. The problem with that explanation was that we also had a commercial meter which we not notified of the change either.

PSO. I live in Owasso, and we were not given an option as to whether or not we wanted the meter. We got it anyway. And we should NOT have to pay a fee to get an analog meter, nor should we have to pay a monthly fee for that analog meter. I feel like we were steamrollered.

PSO The individuals should have the option to choose not to be exposed to the deleterious effects of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the AMI meters.

Tri-County Electric, electric cooperative never told us that they were replacing our analog meter with the smart meter or provided us with an opt out when our family protested.

Utility provider: PSO. Threatened to shut off our power if we didn't either 1) allow them to install an AMI meter or, 2) pay the "opt-in" fee and get a modified AMR. PSO only disclosed they have a third option as well - the GEi210 meter that never had a transmitter in it to begin with. We ended up paying the fee, but are on the list for the GEi210 when it comes in.

We were not given the option of retaining our analog meter. Our provider is O G & E.

This should have been an opt in option from the beginning. Alas we are here...I DO NOT want a smart meter.
