Spring Mill is already a disaster. Adding 21 more homes will make it even worse. Yesterday it took me 15 minutes to get from Black Walnut to Germantown Pike. Without a plan to relieve some of this congestion, we cannot add to it.

On Spring Mill road between Butler and Ridge, people usually drive over the speed limit by going up to speeds of 60mph plus. Day and night, motorcyclists and sports cars fly down Spring Mill. This needs to stop along with the dead squirrels I have to pick up and bury.

We asked about stop signs and bumps a long time ago with no result. Were told that the new rules do not allow stop signs.... So we hope this might help. Seen cars doing 60 MPH, especially during night. Stop signs and /or speed bumbs would be the solution.

The school buses speed down Taylor all the time. They're as bad as regular commuters cutting through...

I live almost at the corner of Dechert & Taylor Roads. Since there are no sidewalks (which is another issue and one I don't think will ever be resolved), when my children and I walk through the neighborhood, it has to be in the street. I have lost count of how many times we have almost been hit by drivers speeding through the neighborhood. Thank you for doing this.

I've tried to get the speeding controlled on Taylor Rd by Corson for 18 years. What else can I do?
Please have folks slow down on Spring Mill .... also we need to have folks slow down on Butler Pike

Malan Drive is another issue for people cutting through in order to avoid the traffic light at Ridge and Spring Mill. Speeding through Malan Drive and then taking a fast left and speeding down Spring Mill.

In addition to the stop signs, we need a traffic light at the intersection of Butler Pike & Spring Mill Road to regulate traffic and reduce a serious safety issue.

Agree that speeding on Spring Mill is a problem and crossing is very dangerous with sight lines obstructed by the topography of the road.

Perhaps the addition of stop signs can help to reduce the number of cars speeding on this road. It's clear that speeding and traffic congestion has been a growing problem. Positive steps by Whitemarsh Township to correct this problem are required.
