We really need this as soon as possible. This can save lives!

Our neighborhood is in desperate need of increased safety regarding specifically on 600 N. Pedestrians and bicyclists are at a high risk of injury; even drivers are at risk. Please consider our plea to help slow down 600 N.

It is about time that the city realizes that this is the worst and most unsafe intersection in the city. Just because its the west side doesn't make it deserving of a blind eye.

Enough fatalities and injuries. Something needs to be done. The west side is tired of being ignored

flags are always stolen at this intersection. Flashing lights is a permanent solution to alert drivers to pedestrians crossing. Lighting at this intersection is very poor too.

It's hard to see pedestrians crossing 600 North. Make this better for walkers & drivers.

600 N and 300 W is one of worst intersections in town. Traffic stress and too many people coming off Beck and FW that just aren't quite ready to be carefull.

It's all too easy to come off the freeway or north over the freeway and enter this residential area quickly. In the few years I've been living in Rose Park, I've seen many near misses between cars and pedestrians. With drivers becoming ever more distracted and impatient, many blow through the intersection while someone's walking, or swerve around cars that are stopped for a pedestrian almost hitting the person as they pass the stopped car. I hope additional traffic infrastructure here will make the neighborhood safer.

This is my most used intersection and I notice the danger of it EVERY time I drive through it

Just last night we were driving home at dusk and watched a crowd of young people crossing this crosswalk together. They were running to get across and were barely visible to the cars speeding west down the 600 N overpass into the neighborhood. If one driver had been distracted for a second, it would have been tragic. That is a very scary place to cross the street. It can also be difficult to make a left turn onto 600 N from 800 W. Keeping an eye on the crosswalk and cars speeding by from the overpass makes it a dangerous turn.
