There are no harder working people that keep trails maintained than the horse community. Surely being able to share this magnificent trail system with others is not too much to ask.

My husband and I have horses, and this trail is one of the rides that we would like to do.

The trails are for everyone to enjoy! Lets keep it that way. One group does not own the trails! You can be sure horse people know how to work hard and are many of those who help to maintain and keep the trails open!

Inclusive multi use trails is the way to go. Call Shuswap Trails - it's being done successfully.

Horse back riding should be all year round, no restrictions except under harsh and dangerous conditions.

But I do understand that, when it's very muddy, that ppl should exercise common sense and not use the trails.

Riding needs to be allowed all year round. There also seems to be some talk of paving sections and or laying down a compacted rock dust surface with a very small horse lane on the side. Use for all please. Horse camping along the trail could be really sweet in the right places.

Horses are allowed on the Cranbrook to Wardner trail. The only restriction should be motorized.

This is what those trails should be for, horses, biking, walking, playing.
