This seems like a case of divide and conquor by a select group of users. Initially when they were seeking signatures to turn the old railbed into a linear park it was supposed to be for everyone: hikers, biker, atv's, and horseback riders. They managed to quietly push our the motorized users and not too much was said about it. Now they are on to pushing out the next user group.

Horses cause no damage to the outdoors. Not like motor bikes and quads. So please leave the trails open for horseback riding. Thank You

The only restrictions i would agree with are banning horseshoes as a fire hazard. Thank you.

Trails are for horses, so unfair to keep them off of trails. You grow your FOOD in their poop, seriously people that want horses off of land should try growing their food in dog poop and see why it's not a big deal to step on some horse manure

Restricted use of public recreational trails is grossly unfair, horse owners are taxpayers too.

Horseback riders have kept trails open all over the country and should not be banned from them now. There would be no trails if not for them

Equestrians want to preserve our trails and are great stewards of our beautiful wildness. The footprints left are minimal

before these rails were laid for the Iron Horse it was the horse that carried us to survival, to trade and to prosperity in this country.

Most riders are responsible and respect other users. We are able and willing to do trail maintenance when necessary to keep trails open for use

What is the issue with horses? I find horse owners typically more responsible and in control of their animal than a lot of dog owners around here....

This is insane. We are respectful, we stop and let people pass safely, our horses are well behaved, we are not noisy, we are happy...we simply walk or trot down the trails...what is the issue?

Horses helped develop this country, why are we are being so harsh on them now. Let the horses and the people who enjoy them use the trails, they probably did before anyone else did
