Let's induct Sloan into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame!

Been a fan for 28 of their 30 years. Surely deserving!

They should have been inducted 10 years ago! I had no idea they weren't already in. No Canadian Music Hall of Fame is legitimate without Sloan

I have loved this band for 25 years! Great live shows, fantastic studio albums, and all round "Great Canadian Band". These Money City Maniacs deserve to be in the Candian Music Hall of Fame now!

It’s ridiculous that this petition is required. I’m not even a huge fan, I’m a fan though, and they definitely need to be in there.

1997 was the first year I had heard of Sloan. They were playing in Newfoundland during the Much Music Snow Job festival at Marble Mountain ski resort. They were just getting big and they played on the afternoon stage during a school day. The concert access was all ages so naturally a bunch of students organized rides to the ski hill to go see Sloan!! It reminded me of the quest to go see Aerosmith or Kiss in the movies I grew up watching. Ever since then, I have watched their music grow, and morph, and just become the embodiment of Candian rock and roll. Sloan really created the blueprint of what it is to be Candian Rockstars.

Great band. Definitely need to be in the hall of fame
