No Cannabis for Creston Area

Cannabis cultivation on the Nipomo Mesa is not compatible with its many residential communities . This area has been INCORRECTLY ZONED for pot cultivation on a large scale, and will ruin our safe communities, quality of life and property values.

I run a large family childcare business next to the school in Creston and am concerned about this issue and how it will effect our town and what elements it will bring in...I'm not against growing marijuana, just not on Ag land right near and around our community. It needs to be in an industrial zone where residents andvtheir hones are not affected.

I agree with David Parrish's comment about the water use for this purpose. It needs to be addressed.

I am against having this commercial operation out here in our agricultural area. Our roads are just gravel and all ready get too much traffic to be maintained properly. Water usage by this crop is tremendous. As everyone knows in this county we do not have enough water for our existing crops and needs. We can help our community out by not growing pot here in San Luis Obispo County.

Please consider the residents of this county, not just the cannabis growers' financial interests.

I live near the one on Mesa Rd. In Nipomo. They vent around 4:30am. If you sleep with your windows open you will awaken by the skunk smell. Just awful!!

Board of Supervisors: Please act on these 5 common sense changes as you review the Phase 2 cannabis ordinance amendments. These 5 changes can not wait until Phase 3 - many cannabis projects could be approved before Phase 3 . Residential agriculture communities in SLO county need you to protect us from the unknowns of cannabis projects in our own backyards. You would not want a cannabis project next to your home/family - we don't either. Thank you.

Please don’t sell the soul of this county to the almighty dollar. Follow the money. Those hiding behind the guise of more jobs for our communities could care less about preserving the beautiful and unique character of the Central Coast.
