Stephen, when ever you tax anyone it is passed on by higher rates, people who come to the area may decide it's the last straw and decide against it, those that do come will have less money to spend at other establishments

If local, state & federal law makers would take a year off we'd all be better off. They all have nothing better to do then to come up with new regulations. Sometimes things are better off left alone. No new taxes!

The new assessment is discriminatory towards small business owners. neither the smaller lodgings nor their patrons should be impacted. Regional advertising costs should not be shouldered as a tax.
