This is for everyone who is in Mr. Halpern's IB HL English 5-6.

Mr. Halpern extended the deadline for our OSH essays to Wednesday at 4 a.m. and stressed that he will not give any more extensions. However, I believe we should have a looser time frame to submit our work, specifically Wednesday to Thursday morning. I know that I, as well as many others, will greatly benefit from this extension. In general, our schedule has been rushed due to the snow days as well as spring break. Therefore, it is only fair that we are allowed to turn in our work a little late. Please note that we should not extend it past Thursday though, since we need to give him time to grade papers over break.

As of now, a handful of people have submitted their work, so he will already have essays to grade on Wednesday morning. For the rest of us, we should be able to turn our papers in when they are in better shape. Mr. Halpern will definitely much rather see good-quality papers that are turned in a little late than less-quality papers that are on time.

Does this sound fair? I am open to suggestions, comments, and/or critiques.
