Skyplex: LIMIT HEIGHT AND LIGHTS

This project is poised to become another short-sighted, eye-roll that does little for the community except to set a precedent of what NOT to do. Plus, there does not need to be a 10,000 sf Perkins in existence anywhere in this world. The flagship McDonalds is more of a punchline than an attraction, and that is an internationally-recognized brand.

Stop the Skyplex project! Give and maintain our community free of so much press and keep the tranquility that we have enjoyed in the past.

We live in a nice and quiet community and want to keep it that way. I plan to vote no and I know that my vote counts. Please vote NO on this skyplex project - tell them to take it to Las Vegas where all the lights and glitter belong, but not here in Belle Isle. Thank you

There is enough congestion already and we do not need any skyplex in this community. I plan to vote no, and hope the Commissioners do as well because I know my vote counts.

Traffic already horrible

Not only will a 700-ft structure mar an area which is considered one of the most desirable places to live in Orlando - it is irresponsible to add a structure of this magnitude when the infrastructure of the International Drive area is already overloaded. Existing roads cannot handle the traffic from the convention center, tourists staying at I-Drive hotels, and local residents traveling to and from work.

I believe the developer should resubmit revised plans with the Skyplex maximum height moe closely matching existing structures in the area.

This is a disgusting display and totally unnecessary.

There is already too much traffic in that area. I have not seen any plans for designs that the traffic will improve before anything else is it built. This just does not make common sense.

This type of structure is not needed nor wanted in this area. That particular intersection is already very congested. This area is not, nor do we want to become "A city that never sleeps" such as the Las Vegas Strip. We have many theme parks which already have lots of roller coasters. We don't need such attractions on every street corner.

I agree, this is setting an ominous precedent for future projects of this magnitude. We don't need this!

Do not need this attraction. It does not fit into our community or area. Not the type we want or need.
