I live in Falconridge and I have been chased by skunks and they fight with each other at three am and fight with dogs that owners are walking I am afraid to leave my house or come in at night it would be nice if the city could relocate them

the skunks are part of the wildlife so it is up to fish and wildlife to deal with them not the people of calgary

I have come within 10 foot steps of two skunks in the last 2 weeks in Erinwoods. This is not okay.

We were very tolerant to skunks in our area (Oakridge) for many years. Now we have more than one living under our deck where we have a cold air intake to the house. Daily we have a good portion of "aroma" evenly distributed throughout the house. Unberable! Hope city of wildlife will do somthing to help homeowners to fight unwanted pests.

Have the same problem in Abbeydale! We spent a small fortune in grooming costs for our dog after being sprayed 3 times!! City won't do nothing, they keep building and encroaching on skunks habitat and this is the result! Stop building and deal with the problems at hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am in Dover and the skunks are rampant. Saw a lineup of about 8 of them couldn't believe it. They must have huge litters. Been chased by one, I believe it had rabies. They do not seem to have fear anymore, curious if anything(most often). And I've had to spray my entire house with that skunk odour remover and washed everything when one sprayed us and with babies here that's really unfair that the city will not help.

I feel for you. I had neighbors in Red Deer who refused to clean up the refuse in their yard or block off access to their burrows. We were told the same thing by the City of Red Deer. It was very frustrating and disheartening.

not only tge smell and worried about me,my child and dog getting sprayed. I have seen a few dead on the roads. They are causing traffic problems and even god forbid cause a serious accident were someone could get seriously hurt! Something needs to be done and it should be the cities responsability. Im in penbrook.

We have about 5-6 that live under our front door steps. The smell gets so bad you can smell it in the house.My children are scared to go outside. We have even seen them out during the day. Something needs to be done.

We have the same problem in Woodlands. Our dogs got sprayed twice in the evening.

When it becomes an issue like this, the city should do something. otherwise, someone who doesn't want to pay the $200/animal will just end up killing them.

MacKenzie Towne is known to have the critters too. Dogs don't deter them, they just get sprayed!
