Hi all the FA have recently took a hard line on kids wearing skins and that they have to be the same colour as your shorts and socks this is a ridiculous rule for the sake of the kids being warm in the cold months and the area of a knee or arm. They go on about child welfare. If you would like to help me raise this concern and get this rule removed please sign this petition ASAP and let’s get the numbers over to the FA

It's elitist and pathetic that children can't wear basic skin colours that come relatively cheaply such as black, unless their shorts are black. My boys team wear Maroon. Can you advise where we get Maroon skins from that cost the same as the black ones? Also, between shorts n socks, there is only 2 inches of leg showing. Surely this tiny space does not confuse players on who to pass the ball too.

Ridiculous ruling surely it's more important that the children are warm and burn free from the Astro rather than worrying about uniform colours

Absolutely ridiculous rule! There is no detriment to a game of children’s football there’s only a few inches showing for God’s sake sack whoever agreed to this pathetic rule !

The skins are only worn to keep the children warm . Not a great deal of colours are available in children's sizes .

Ridiculous rule. I would understand if they imposed a rule of 'black base layer only', but some teams will find it costly or impossible to find the same colour as their shorts.

It’s an absolutely ridiculous rule. Whoever voted it in should be looked at by child safeguarding bods.
