Skegness has to move forward and this will bring people, provide jpbs and encourage other companies to our area - it is a win win.

I think a Premier Inn would be a great idea. I use them whenever I can. The price is reasonable, the rooms and en suites are all of high quality, and there is a good Beefeater next door. Who could possibly object, apart from other hoteliers?

This is only my personal opinion. I am not a business man. But I think it would create a little competition on fairer pricei g to get visitors to return to Skegness. As we need to get in the modern world of holidaying.

I dont understand the objections. Bringing any national brand to Skegness has to be a good thing. Once you get one then a whole host of others will surely follow and that could be shops too. The only issue i would maybe be concerned about it how tall they would be allowed to build it. They should keep it all on one level or two at the most so that the seafront hotels bedrooms get to keep the sea view. I thought there was a huge campaign to try and make Skegness an all year round resort? A major hotel chain would be a definite step towards this. I dont think the hotels would lose out because the search engines would give advertising to other hotels nearby when the Premier inn is full.
