Skateboarding in Namibia, A Petition for the City of Windhoek.

Skateboarding has been growing ever since its inception in the 80s, and this growth has seen it growing into one of the greatest urban sport codes in modern times.
Skateboarding in Namibia has been highly neglected by both the relevant sports departments in Namibia as well as the general public, labeling it as a useless and rebellious sport, which is quite contrary to the fact that there are well established and experienced professionals who make a living as professional skateboarders.
However here, Namibian skaters have been forced to resorting to skating on on the roads as well as skating illegally at Office Buildings, due to the lack of the appropriate infrastructure for them to practice their skills. The All Nations Skate Park was and is still a great space for skaters, however it is too much of a small space to the growing number of skaters.
We, as skaters in Namibia therefore ask the Namibian public to help us gather enough Signatures in order for us to approach the City of Windhoek to avail a piece of land towards building a park for the growing population of Skateboarders.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
Yours Faithfully
Troubled Namibian Skaters.
