Please help get Sir Patrick Moore immortalised by the Bank of England.
Sir Patrick has many many accomplishment to his name, being awarded the status of OBE, CBE and Knight hood ,to name a few, for he's dedication to educating the Children, Teen and Adults of our country in Astronomy.
Other to he's life long commitment to astronomy he also served in the RAF in WW2.
During the 90's many may remember him as the digital guru, The GAMESMASTER.

The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond what I originally thought possible. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the path forward remains unclear but seeing this level of support keeps me moving.

Sir Patrick was an inspiration to myself and many others. He brought the science of astronomy to the general public and deserves to be remembered on the £50 note.
Please consider Sir Patrick Moore as the face of the new £50. He was a great inspiration to my Godson. He also spent time with him.
Great orator, had some of his books and love The Sky at Night.

My late brother Ken was a Fellow of the Royal Astronomic Society FRAS . He was a close personal friend of Sir Patrick Moore. I have met him too and what an absolute icon of British Scientific Advancement he was. A true gentleman and an ideal inspirational person for our £50 note. Totally endorse this petition
