Stephen Fry has not been knighted.
He needs to be.
He makes such a contribution to multiple types of media.
And is a real idol in the Gay community and everyone really!
He needs to be knighted!

The current trajectory of this petition has successfully brought the matter to the attention of several national media outlets. I am now formalizing a letter to the Honors and Appointments Secretariat to outline our position.

Stephen Fry definitely deserves an OBE, CBE/Knighthood etc -- In fact he's been offered ALL of the highest honors including Knighthood by the PM/Queen - He's simply turned them down. He doesn't want them. However, I do think he should reconsider at this point - as it's symbolic for the people even if he feels 'unworthy' or self conscious etc for the honor/honours. Maybe he'll change his mind in the future, but accolades do not a Stephen Fry make. :)
its long overdue. the man is a national treasure and frankly it feels wrong he doesnt have one when so many lesser people get them for absolutely nothing

Beckham is trying every way to get this honour after kicking a bag of wind about Sir Stephen Fry sounds good to me.
