Title - Sir John Wilson School: Reduction of School Fee
Due to the recent Covid-19 Pandemic and resulting financial hardships, we earnestly request a reduction of at least 50% on school fees at present.
The Covid -19 Pandemic has proven to be a hurdle on people’s financial condition. Some of us have have multiple children attending your respected school and it has become a bigger issue for those parents.
We would appreciate at-least a 50% reduction keeping the Pandemic and financial situation in mind .

We are expecting reduction in monthly tuition fee since the school's operational cost has reduced due to the closure. We, parents are struggling financially for obvious reasons. I got to know from a parent that she was asked to pay a hefty amount as late tuition fee at Pubali Bank. How is that justified ?
The amount that we are paying for the tuition. We are not getting the service for that value. Either make the online classes worth 17k bdt or reduce the tuition fee. Much better online classes are available around the world for less than quarter of the price we are paying.
Considering the singnificant reduction of variable expenses, request for reducing tuition fee to a justified extent is practical and timely demand in this current situation. There has to be an adjustment of the previous payments made during April and May cycle as well.
My wife already lost her job from may 15. I believe school should reduce the profit portion. Only fixed & variable cost should charge without job cut of any teacher/staff.. Better days will come again!!
In this Covid-19 pandemic situation we all require to act reasonably and give an effort to ease life for others. Tuition fee reduction is currently the most appropriate action the school authorities could take to show some empathy towards guardians.

My husband is the sole earner & our salaries have been deducted by 40%. And we have twins who are starting with PG program this year. In this tough time when we all suffering a concession is needed
