As we all know Covid-19 has severely impacted our way of living. Education method has been dramatically shifted towards online and the impact on the nation's economy is quite severe. No doubt that most, if not all, businesses are severely hit and measures for business survival have been undertaken by companies in Indonesia.
Cash conservations become a paramount matter as uncertainty of how the economy will recover remains high. This petition is signed by parents of Binus School Simprug in demanding the school board for a reduction of school fees in this very difficult circumstances.

The Binus School board continues to ignore our reality despite the massive wave of support building behind this demand. We are not backing down until they acknowledge the financial crisis hitting every family here.

I am supporting this petition since the condition is getting worst and it becomes economically and educationally challenging for both parents as well as the students. My daughter feels that online study does not help much since it’s difficult to understand the materials compared to the normal classes. Thus, online study becomes ineffective.
Several schools includes an international school already gave reductions for school fee, this is the hard time for all of us, less income and more expenses. And since our children didn’t came to school and used all school facilities literally so it make sense for us to get some school fee reduction.
The business owners and employees have been severely impacted by this current situation. And with the Home Learning the school is no longer have to pay for the overhead cost like electricity and AC. It’d be fair and kind gesture for Binus to reduced the tuition fee for term 4 since the students didn’t use the school facilities.
School does not incur much cost since students are at home. And for lower grades they don't do their work themselves. Parents have to assist
Would really appreciate if the school can consider the current situation Covid19 and go easy with the reduction on the school fees.i hve 2 kids n Binus which will make a difference to us.

How could schools keep asking the same rate while the services and the world has been drastically different? I firmly believe that schools operators and principals still have the hearts sharing everyone’s pain - like what they teach to our kids.
