Single-Sex Prisons in WA

This proposal completely disgusts me & should not have even be a consideration

Biological women only should be in prisons meant solely for them and not mixed in with violent, dangerous trans

Keep prisons single sex, based on biological sex and keep women safe! Trans women are not women.

Politictians who place the wishes of a small group of men above the safety of women are FAILING ALL WOMEN. IF these men (who claim to be women) feel unsafe in a male prison, they should be given separate housing in a male prison. They should not be unleashed on the female prison population. The vast majority of violence and sexual assaults against women & children are perpetrated by MEN. Just because a man says he's a women, makes him no less dangerous to women. Placing a male inmate in with female inmates just because he says he's a women or feels unsafe with men is the equivalent of placing a fox who is picked on by other foxes in the hen coop! Why do ALL women have to give up their safety & their right to privacy to appease a small group of men?? Do better politicians. Biological woman make up 51% of your voter base. Represent biological women, instead of caving to woke propaganda and the trans movement.

It's unfair to biological women to allow males into women's prisons, never never do that.

Please look at how many men are claiming gender identification changes in the UK to get access to women in prisons. Protect those most vulnerable. It is YOUR responsibility.

The right to safety is a human right. To incarcerate males (with intact genitalia) with female prisoners (many of whom have past/present histories of sexual assault victimology) is an insult, inhumane and negation of basic female sex-based human rights. Shameful and misogynistic. This is not ‘protecting females from male violence’.

Single Sex Prisons only. Please keep these vulnerable women safe. My worst nightmare. Where are strong, outspoken politicians!!!

It is insane to disregard biological sex and put in place an Ideology/feeling etc

Allowing men, regardless of what they demand others call them or look like, should not be in women's prisons. You are essentially putting them in a facility where they have easy access to abuse, inclduing rape, women. This has already happened in multiple instances of putting men in women's prison. Doing this to women is cruel and unusual punishment.

Women deserve to be safe in prison. Housing them with men threatens their safety.

Penises have no place in Women’s prisons

There are cases in the U.K., Canada, and U.S.A. of why this is a terrible idea. Women deserve to have female only spaces, especially when they're incarcerated. And sexually violent and murderous male criminals who identify as women need to be housed with males, or create a ward specifically for them vs forcing them onto a helpless female population. Female rights matter.

Most women in prison were sexually assaulted by men, often first abused as children. These women shoukd be accorded the privacy, safety and dignity of only being incarcerated with other females. Males should not be housed in women’s prisons, no matter how those males “identify”.

This is not acceptable.

When a man self identifies as transgender (no medical diagnosis of dysphoria and no intention of going through body modification surgery to remove their penis and scrotum) he doesn’t change his sex or the fact that he is a member of the sex class that commits 98% of all violent and sex crimes, mostly against women (adult human females) and children. Women fought hard for and won their sex based rights to privacy, dignity and safety away from the male gaze and from predatory males who would do them harm, particularly in spaces where they are undressed or asleep and therefore vulnerable. These same rights apply to women who are in prison. Statistics show that around 75% of female prisoners are victims of sexual abuse/rape. To place male prisoners (no matter how they identify), particularly violent and sex offenders, into the female estate would not only re-traumatise these women, but would place them at increased risk of being sexually abused/raped again. It would be a breech of women prisoners sex based rights to privacy, dignity and safety to house male prisoners within the female estate. I’ve heard the argument that transgender identifying males aren’t safe within the male estate, that their rights are being breeched by housing them there etc. This is an open admission that male violence is a big problem within male prisons. That’s why male prisons have maximum security facilities after all, right? So why on earth is it deemed appropriate and safe to house violent and sex offending males within the female estate, with the sex that is disproportionately impacted/effected by male violence? Why even consider housing male prisoners with female prisoners when we all know what the outcome will be? Just look to Scotland where a transgender identifying male called Karen White was transferred to the female estate and proceeded to rape two female prisoners and sexually assaulted others. Look to Ireland where they recently had to post a 24/7 guard on a transgender

Please look to the U.K. for the stats on this disastrous idea. This will put vulnerable women at risk.

Male pattern violence does not alter according to gender identity. Keep women's prisons single sex.
