I think u should be allowed to go to a dance regardless of whether u have a date or not! that is ridiculous.

Students should have the freedom to attend school dances stag if they please. Not everyone has a special someone in high school.

Not every person can find a date for the senior prom as I know from experience so let it be open to every senior with or without a date

A whole lot more kids would feel better about themselves if they didn't have to miss the prom because they didn't have a date. It's a lot of pressure.

For senior prom I went with someone random because I could not find a date. I think I would have enjoyed the event a lot more if I wasn't so stressed about having to find a date last minute.

When I was in school I saw way too many kids unable to attend dances over this rule and for a Catholic school, it seems unchristian to tell kids who can't find a date that they have to be left out of something as important as prom.

A. It is ridiculous to force a child who for whatever reason doesn't want to go to prom with a date to choose between being unhappy with a date that they didn't want to go with or being unhappy not going to this major life event at all. It should not be anyone else's choice but the students. B. It is not 1952. A girl does not have to have a boy on her arm to be happy at prom nor does a boy need a girl. C. Mind your damn business.
