I agree that this may significantly discourage worthy students from choosing this JC. Contrary to its touted meaning, I think it may already have tarnished the reputation the school seeks to build.

Please change to Trinity (3 become 1) or Jubilee (celebrate our 50th years of achievement) or Goh Keng Swee (Chinese name as it started with Chinese as the strong foundation so a respectful Chinese leader is really good) or a name that reflects the 3 school say Chinese Catholic JC (to reflect the strong Chinese culture of the 3 school and the strong mission behind it-2 school)
Please make sure the school has strong pastoral care to.continue that tradition, mission and purpose.

Though well-intentioned, locals have difficulty relating to the proposed name and students attending it will have to bear the brunt of jokes about their school.

I make a mental note that I mention this ' new' college name everyday a few times when I speak with my Singlish :" you know ah....."
Please do reconsider or anticipate few applicants into this JC.

The name Eunoia is controversial. The meaning behind it is obscure. Please change it to a simpler name to prevent further embarrassment.

The name is not only difficult to pronounce, most people don't know what it means. I also think it has little relevance/connection to the history of SCGS, St Nicks and Catholic High. Please change the name!
