Please get ALL the students in the three schools to vote for whether they want the name..

Please change name of JC to Trinity Junior College.

SCGS, SNGS and Catholic High are schools that have grown together with Singapore. The leaders they have cultivated over their course of history (our Prime Minister included) have more than just "beautiful thinking". How about the grit, resilience and loyalty to Singapore, among other attributes, that we want to inculcate in our future generation? In my humble opinion, Eunoia is an irrelevant name. It is just not good enough. As alumni, we are very disappointed with this name that reeks of pretentiousness. Even primary school students can tell that - many have decided not to take up this through train programme offered by the 3 schools because they do not want to be laughing stock. This is unfair to the schools. If I may suggest, the representatives of the 3 schools should convene and think about a name for their jc as they are the direct stakeholders. I sincerely urge the relevant authorities to reconsider the name.

Even if the the name is meaningful, the way common folks would pronunce it would make the collage a laughing stock. I am confident the brains at MOE could come up with a better name.

Please let the students of the 3 schools vote. I do like Trinity JC. I neither can pronounce the word and first time reading it sounds like Ebola and I don't understand the meaning. So would most people in Singapore reading it know it's meaning?

The new JC should be named as Singapore Junior College

all 4 of us who teach Greek in Singapore think this is a stupid name.

I agree! It is such a silly name for a new JC that you wonder how out of touch the people who approved this name are with Singaporeans.

Dear All Thank you for your support. We have shared the petition to the Ministry of Education on Jan 9, 2016. Naming a school is not easy... but we hope the Ministry will reconsider the name of the new college.

Please find a better, more meaningful, something linked to our heritage name for the school. We are Singaporeans and we are very proud of our school so a good name is very important. Thanks
