These proposed changes make no sense whatsoever, complete waste of time and money.

this is such an iconic track in dunedin!

I strongly disagree! The DCC should be encouraging more use of these tracks, not less. This short sighted kind of thinking, by the DCC is ridiculous, and so out-dated. How about consulting those who actually use the tracks.

Removing access to this part of the area would be a huge loss for the running/ walking/ hiking communities and big blunder for the Dunedin City Council!

I support maintaining free and unfettered access for walking and running in the Silver Peaks.

Regular recreational tramper/runner in these areas, which are a real asset to our city

My whole family enjoys running in the hills around Dunedin and this would affect their recreational needs

I support this petition, we shouldn't need a permit to go for a run.

Yeah right! We need names in Council of who exactly made up this nonsense and then TO ACCOUNT FOR IT.

What a silly thing to require a permit to access this amazing landscape!

This is a ridiculous proposal. We the public should continue to have access to these areas. Many in the running community give up there spare time unselfishly ,just to help clear and keep open many tracks .

Access should remain as is.

Utter madness. Why would you not be able to walk on a walking track!?

These trails are a massive drawcard for Dunedin and enjoyed by a massive community. Please keep them open to all to enjoy!
