Physical activity in nature has multiple health, social and economic benefits that contribute to community well-being and quality of life. Access to nature is a basic right of New Zealanders.

Dunedin's trails are vaulable asset to the city and is one major reason why some find Dunedin attractive city to live in. It would also effectively put an end to yearly events that are also fund raisers for community organizations. I am against restricting access for day walking/runners.

Keep public land accessable. Wild animals pose a greater risk than a few hardly adventures who mostly love the environment and look after it

The general health and wellbeing of the Dunedin and wider community needs to be encouraged, not restricted or reduced. Please leave access as is.

These are areas of great beauty and great enjoyment for many and I would petition for them to remain accessible to all besides its of great significance to the 3 peak event something it has become a great event for Dunedin and lots of work behind it.

What an earth is going on Duniden council?. Why are Thea’s closers even being considered??.let alone with out consulting the community that use them . You need to be promoting your trail network and getting people out doors .

This is ridiculous. One of the main reasons I love living in Dunedin is hiking and running the Silverstream tracks.
