I bring multiple vehicles numerous times per year. if the money were to go to the park that would be one thing, but since it will not. No thanks.

I can't imagine which idiot in Lansing came up with this latest attempt to separate all the sand dune enthusiasts from the rest of their money!! It won't take long for Silver Lake in July to start looking like Silver Lake in November, or March, or - you get the picture. Soon, all the people who normally go to Silver Lake will be going to other destinations. Another example of our government at work! If you gave a good thing, keep screwing with it until you've ruined it!

This will make it impossible for tourists for example to on a whim enjoy the dunes in their vehicle. Making a natural beauty like the sand dunes even harder to enjoy than it already is is without point.

This is just more Crap from the state of Michigan. There bad idea with the wasted area of woods they raped to put up a voucher station. The stupid additional fee for a trail pass on top of the ORV pass. Ticketing vehicles for using 50 ft of road to enter the park from the voucher station. This little " Paton Place" of Silver Lake, Hart Michigan with its property owners is doing its best to end the dunes visiter recreational monies they receive. Keep your sand and bitchy land owners..... I'll spend my money in a state that enjoys its visitors.

As a home owner on upper silver lake fr over 15 years and been going up there for over40 years, the DNR is way out of line, I as a land owner should not need a voucher at all,

Get rid of the whole voucher system all together and stop limiting us to the 450 acres. ORV's went up last year and now you want $10 for a free voucher cause it's "on-line" and from what I've read the $ isn't going for the dunes. It goes to a Canadian company to run the voucher system. Stop the insanity DNR!!!!!! When is enough, enough already???
