would not like to see this in action - i feel this will turn people who are not regular duners away and will frustrate those who are. isnt purchasing the TWO orv's enough?!

This is wrong, what's next an annual membership fee! It would be one thing it the money what used to maintain other state parks but because it's not, I say its bullshit. Especially since the company running the system isn't even from Michigan.

Do not let this pass I'd rather pay 5$ a day for vouches as long as the money goes towards silver lake or silver lake state park

i wonder if they want to price people using the dunes, some people have 1,2 3 atvs, they can't afford this two or three day weekend, please don't put this $ 10 fee in place.

State of Michigan is ruining family past times; You have grants, you are a tax deductible donations for the public to donate to and no one is marketing enough to donate to Silver Lake if funds are needed. In May 2014, Silver Lake received two grants the one for maintenance in the amount of $20,000 for additional Solar Lighting to be installed at the entrance ramp/check point of the ORV Parking Lot. Which blows my mind, and don't see how that was a good use of grant money. The other for $5,000 for Dune Grass along the ORV Trails on Lake Michigan. Which the way the water creates another lake along the trail of Lake Michigan I don't see where that grant was used. Everyone that uses the dunes understands there are rules and regulations, but what is been done because of someones greed, has gone to far. If your not making money off the 2,000 acres dedicated to hiking and exploration. Then, designate more acreage than 450 to ORV, the demand and need is there.
