There are already fees charged for the privilege to use this park and others. Already charged a fee for ORV and the trail fee is already a stacked on fee that should be illegal.

i am opposed to this as it will not cut down the line getting in to the dunes as they are always backed up. for the vouchers it will eliminate the line but not the actual park, if it goes thru Baldwin and the Big O will appreciate the money i spend in their community going forward.

The online voucher will eliminate the line up to get a voucher but how will it eliminate the lines to get on the dunes?
I fear this $10 voucher will reduce the visitors to the area and drive more small businesses out of business.
Also, not everyone has access to a printer, will there be evouchers?

This looks to deter people from the dunes be incurring another charge to enter.

There has already been a substantial increase just with the new ORV License and Trail permits needed to go on the dunes. Have they said what the $10 is going to be used for?

If this voucher system is approved, it will only hurt the Silver Lake community.. businesses around here thrive on summer business from everyone who is going to the dunes. If cost goes up at the dunes, spending in the rest of the community will go down.
