Ten bucks for a state park sticker. 26 bucks for an ORV sticker. 10 more for a trail permit. Now another 10 per DAY for a voucher. First the vouchers don't solve any of the supposed issues being raised. The issue is with trailered rigs using the same line as dune ready. Set up seperate entries and problem solved. In fact more revenue can be brought into that local economy if more parking was utilized. Currently the giant voucher center parking lot is left empty. We tax payers bought it because the DNR thought it would be a good thing. It was never used appropriately. I only see this lot with maybe twenty cars in it for about one hour on firday night. Why not open this up to "house" the trailered rigs? What's more is when I go it is usually weather dependent. I don't want to go on-line to find a voucher 24 hours in advance. This is a place most folks go with short notice. And what if it is rainy and cold. Can I get my money back if I don't go? The DNR makes this out like it is a major issue all of the time. I go often but never on a major weekend. On any typical weekend I have no issues and no lines longer than about twenty cars. That's basically the length of the entry. The holiday's is a different story as I understand it but haven't done the holiday thing in twenty years as I like a relaxed time not a crowded one. Why not make a special setup for the holiday only? Start there and see where it goes. I would guess the dunatics that enjoy the big crowd will not mind paying for a guaranteed spot to park. Still I maintain this is purely a money grab on the part of the DNR and if the lines are the reall problem then paid for on-line vouchers will not solve the problem. Think about it. Someone has to scan in all the vouchers. So the same lines exist. If all this still has t ohappen then how about opening the dang voucher lot earlier? Let people park in there. Walk up and "take a number" like we do at the Secretary of State. Then at nine you can literally walk back up in

Of all the possible improvements that could have been made this is what the state comes up with. They should listen to all the comments in opposition and scrap this plan before they waste anymore tax payer money on it.

Just another way to scam money from people. 1st the trail permit, now a charge to use a state park that we all already pay for.

This might be an optional service for out of area visitors, but should never be a requirement. Personally I feel the voucher system is flawed as it stands.
