I have been going to Silver Lake since i was a little girl and it is my favorite place in Michigan. This voucher purchase is going to make it so people wont come up as much & young adults like myself can already hardly afford a vacation, let alone now you want us to come up with $30 for the weekend to be able to enter. With it being first come first serve on these people will be absolutely furious if they pay for a campground for the weekend and cant even get out one day to ride. There is nothing wrong with the way things are now and if this pulls through then i see a lot of business disappearing from Silver Lake.

This is ridiculous. You already have to buy an ORV and a trail pass. Some may say it's only 10 bucks but look at the price hike across the board for enjoying the outdoors, everything got a lot more expensive and things are not getting better condition wise. hell part of the snowmobile trail permit price hike was due to help ORV trail improvement not snow trail improvement. Where is this money going? I know it isn't going to improvements. The outdoors should be accessible to all not just the privileged.

It makes sense that the park would want to reduce voucher lines but this is not the answer. This system does nothing to reduce wait times or improve the quality of the dunes.
