I've been going to Silver Lake since the 70s with my parents... It's a 3 hr drive to get there.... But it's only 1hr to other off road locations outside Michigan... Hmm making it more appealing to go out of state.

Maybe alright for the big weekends like labor day, memorial day, 4th of July and whatnot but for a daily voucher (as I understood it would be ) is rediculous and not needed.

If a $10 voucher fee is going to be imposed then 100% of the revenue should be going to taking care of Silver Lake State Park.

This is such a joke. Why isnt the DNR handling all of this personally?? Why bring in a company from a foreign land. If this happens myself and alot of other dune riders will be shutting down on the dunes in 2015. Pull it together. "Im from the governement and Im here to help you"
