i agree they are nickel and diming us. the more money i have to spend to get into the fines the less money i have to spend at the local businesses. there is 2,000 acers in silver lake. the ORV area is only 450. Expand the ORV area to 1, 000 acres. that leaves 1,000 acres for the walkers. I have lived in Michigan my whole life and i know Michigan is all about the money. what do you think would Michigan make more money expanding the dunes, or do they make money on the walker that use the other 1, 550 acres of the dunes?

The current system works great for all but 3 or 4 weekends. Maybe try 50% online for the holiday weekends and see how it works first

It's bad enough we couldn't get up over the 4th 9f July weekend. now we won't be able to get up at all! how can I make a day trip across the state of I have to buy a voucher 24 hours before?

For those who live there on weekends it would too expensive to go in the dunes 2-3 days every weekend. An extra $240 a month just to enjoy nature...rediculous!

It might be a good idea for the holiday weekends ONLY! As for the rest of the days that is crap! We already have to pay for a scramble area permit that we have not yet seen any improvements to the dune area.
