We spend a lot of money in Silver Lake several times a year and we take 3 trucks, 3 dune buggies, and 5 ATV's. This would be a big chunk of change. Not to mention that it isn't guaranteed we'd be able to reserve passes for all our vehicles. This could really screw up our summers.

this is outrageous... the cost for gas to run up there, the money you have to put into your vehicle, and the price of orv stickers already costs quite a bit... but now this?!

Why don't you just shut the dunes down?? This is absolutely ridiculous!! We live 5 miles from the dunes and we can certainly go during the week but what about all the tourists. Way to hurt the Silver Lake merchants!!!

They are going to make Silver Lake a ghost town in a few years and wonder what happened.Its already expensive enough to go there with gas and lodging and food.

ORVs just had an increase in permit fees. To add another $10.00 puts a block on riders especially with the 24hr. notice.
