I am a huge LOTR fan just like many of you and I strongly support Peter Jackson. Some of you may not in fact many people don't like the new Hobbit movies but many people to and love to see Jackson's movie magic especially in The Lord of the Rings universe . I would love to see the Silmarillion in a movie format because as good as the book is I love to see all the action and beautiful places on the big screen. Also it would give the back story to all of the other series of movies that are out. Over all I think if any director should get the honor of doing it it should be Jackson and hopefully it will be soon!

Also I know why they haven't as of yet because of the plot of the movies and payment discrepancies but the fans REALLY want something to fulfill their LOTR cravings and I hope you won't let us down!
