It's Time For A Signal At Colonial Dr

We should have a signal there. It is very dangerous and time consuming to not have a signal there

I fully support this petition. Having a traffic light at intersection of Rt. 140 and Colonial Drive will solve all the problems with minimal cost.

Urgently needed and long overdue.

This intersection is extremely dangerous. Frequent accidents. Very long waits to get out of Colonial Drive during rush hour. I take a chance getting in a accident each morning when I try and get out of this street onto 140. A light is long overdue and needed for the safety of our neighborhood.

This intersection is extremely dangerous and a remedy is long overdue. The proposed plan is inadequate and will negatively impact traffic patterns in our neighborhood.

The new connector road and light they are building in Boylston will cause large back ups during the rush hours. We only have one road in and out of our neighborhood and the congestion is a large concern for emergency vehicles.

A dedicated “left turn onto” lane on southbound 140 from Colonial Dr is the best solution for the citizens of Shrewsbury and Boylston; not a “connector road” that primarily benefits Fedex. Although Boylston receives some tax revenue from Fedex, Shrewsbury does not. Additionally the real estate developers of the homes built on the developments off of Colonial Way should bear the brunt of the cost of the traffic light at Colonial Way. It is not the citizens fault the town(s) did not properly plan nor hold the developers accountable for the last 3-4 decades.

I had an accident in December last year and definitely pray that there will be a traffic signal there.

59 Colonial Drive A traffic signal at the end of Colonial Drive is the best solution for this dangerous intersection.
