This man is about (total) education of student athletes. I think he has proved that in 6 years at Elizabeth HS.

This is why you need tenure in teaching and it should also be in coaching. All coaches are the mercy of the board of education whose only criteria to serve is to be 18, registered to vote and live in the town. Remember this man was the nomination of the superintendent. Without tenure the Super. Would be out if she battled for the coach. Until we change the board of education role in local education this will never stop. In my 40 years of teaching and coaching I have heard many times a disgruntled parent say I am going to run for the board of education to get this coach out. I do not know coach Quinn but I do know that unless we give spears tenure all coaches like John and myself are at the mercy of local towns people. At least let John finish the 2016 Season. THE KIDS DESERVE AT LEAST THAT.

Playing with coach Quinn was one of the best experiences of my life. It wasn't always about football with him, but he taught us to be better people in general. Whether it was through people that he brought in for talks or himself talking to us like a father after every practice. As a recipient of a scholarship due to his recommendation, I can strongly say that Quinn deserves his job back.

I played football with John Quinn in East Stroudsburg U and he had a brilliant football mind even then. He has won at least 6 state championships but more importantly he has gotten over 100 students into college. John spends more time after the season putting together high light films then most high school coaches spend during the season.
He is a role model for the young men at Elizabeth high school and it will be a disgrace if he is fired. Would love to discuss.

This year John Quinn was one of the best coaches I've witness. Even though this year is the first time of coach Quinn coaching me as a Jv player for about two months but still in a little amount of time his magnificent work of being a great coach to his Athletes gave me great experienced and hope to show me I can be successful in this Football organization. By means of, I'm new to this Football sport and this year is going to be my second year in my life playing this sport but with coach Quinn patients and techniques that he brings to this organization had made me Become comfortable and me learning the best ways of fixing my mistakes on the field which would be a step and a great advantage of me learning and understanding this sport.
