Fr Ray has committed the whole life to the mission of Jesus Christ, and has made excellent contribution to the church, especially for the Chinese community of Transfiguration Parish. It would be a loss for all people if he retired at this sudden moment. We wish he can stay 2 more years with us, so that we can prepare well for a better transition.

I was baptized by him when I was 5, and he just baptized my son 25 years later. Can't imagine anyone else being the pastor.

Fr. Ray is a gift from heaven and has indicated that he is healthy enough to serve the community longer. Let him continue to serve as a pastor for the sake of the church and school.

Father has directed and motivated staff to make Transfiguration School as Blue Ribbon School while most parish schools closed down. He led our church 2 large scale renovations and gave us a beautiful house of worship. He restructured Chinese school, directed the great RCIA, Religious studies and adult faith formation programs to enhance our faith. He listened to parishioners from Mainland China although he does not know their dialect(Mandarin). so we have Lady's Assumption Prossession more than 20 years. He encouraged the lay parishioners to take up more responsibilities in church. His accomplishments for the last 25 years are numerous. He is such a great pastor that there is no one in the entire New York archdioese greater than him. I know he will retire one day but I pledge to keep him in Transfiguration as long as we can.

Fr. Nobiletti is a great asset to our community. His leadership is what makes the church and school they are today. While other Catholic schools and churches lose support, Transfiguration is still going strong.

Father Ray has been our Transfiguration Church Pastor since there were fluorescent Lanterns hanging. He has rebuilt the Church and transformed its physical structures and infra-structures progressively under his many decades of leadership. As long as Father Ray is willing and still capable of leading Trans, I will petition as fas as to our Pope Francis to have him continued to serve as the head Pastor of Transfigration Church.

Rev. Raymond Nobiletti, M.M. is a wonderful pastor to our parish, Transfiguration and St. James/St. Joseph Church and we would like for him to continue to be our pastor for another two years. He has indicated that he is healthy enough to serve for the next two years.
He has done well when Transfiguration ad St. James/St. Joseph were merged into one parish.
We ask that he be allowed to stay as our pastor for that time.
Thank you.

As old as he is, Rev. Raymond Nobiletti embodies the spirit of Transfiguration and needs to stay.
