Fr Raymond Nobiletti is still capable of fulfilling his duties as pastor and out of respect for his decades of services should be allowed to step down on his own terms with the right replacement in his mind. I have been with the church all my life for 38 years and have not seen a more dedicated pastor than Fr Ray. I was an altar server serving during his first year and since then he has become a mentor and friend and I still stand by his ability yo serve god and our church community. All of Transfiguration would agree.

With God's will, let Fr. Ray continue to serve more two more years so that he can retire honorably and allowing time of the church to prepare for his retirement.

Fr. Raymond Nobiletti is an extreme value to the Church of Transfiguration. Under his leadership, he’s built a strong formative transition for immigrants within the NYC downtown community. His program initiatives - including multiple bilingual Bible study groups and spiritual formation groups for Christian Initiation - have been instrumental in shaping the lives of so many. Fr. Ray is a beacon of light, and I couldn't imagine what my three boys would have turned out to be without Fr. Ray's guidance. I am requesting to extend Fr. Ray's stay at the Church of Transfiguration, and hope that you sincerely consider keeping him at service in our church community.

Father Nobiletti is the vital linchpin that holds the parish together and should not be forced into retirement while he is willing to serve the Church and his parishioners. He is still highly capable and enthusiastic in his performance of his duties.
