Urge President Buhari to listen & Adapt the six (6) recommendations of Governor Zulum on Security
Since the emergence of Boko Haram insurgency in 2009, it has lead to the death of hundreds of thousand and loss of property worth billions of naira. One among the uncountable attacks and destructions in Nigeria is the recent massacre of farmers in Zabarmari, Borno State.
Following the incidence that leads to the death of over 40 farmers in Zabarmari. The Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum listed six (6) recommendations for consideration by President Muhammadu Buhari in response to the heightening Boko Haram crisis in the northeast. They are to;
- Ensure immediate recruitment of Borno youth into the armed forces to supplement the military;
- Ensure the engagement of services of neighbours, Chad, Niger and Cameroon in clearing the remnants of the insurgents along the shores of Lake Chad;
- Engage the services of mercenaries to clear Sambisa game reserve;
- Provide mine-resistant armoured carriers and other equipment to the military and paramilitary;
- Support the state government in the repatriation of refugees in Niger and Cameroon; and
- Increase the means of livelihood to the people of Borno.

Five hundred people signed this and I truly did not think we would hit that mark so quickly when I first typed this up while staring at my screen in total frustration. It is honestly wild to see so many names pop up because it just proves that we are all tired of the silence and ready for these recommendations to actually be taken seriously by the people at the top.

If Buhari will not impliment Prof Zullum's recommendation, let him give marching orders to all GOCs of all Nigeria Army Divisions to mobilise to Borno, Yobe and Northern Adamawa states and share the area to each of them to clear Boko haram within 2 weeks.
Is too obiviours,in which when the federal government want to control boarder on issue smogling of rice it was stop, but issue of boko haram nothing because of what they are achieving,so I support governor zulum 100%
The respected governor being closer to Borno people understand the problem of security more than any foreigner. We not only should listen to him but also support his suggestions. The suffering of the people is enough. A lasting solution is needed. I fully support the movement
I have signed this petition because I want this insurgence to come to an end, we are tired sir. We have to raise our voices now we have all right to do that. It states in the constitution protected by section 39 (1) of the 1999 constitution , which is right to freedom of speech sir.
Enough is enough we the youth of borno state we are threat of seeing what is happening to our brothers let the mr.president come out and lead the arm force towards fighting all what is happening in the north like what the president of chad did to restore peace in his country

We want peace back to our state, Mr President you are sorrounded by hyaners who ready to tear down, how would you expect them to advise you on ravaging issue of insecurity, Mr sir act well before it too late, word is enough for wise.
