It is beyond belief that North Somerset are obstructing this. They have a duty to protect their residents, especially
children.

In full support of flashing lights and a sign, could not a yellow box be painted on the road as well ?

please get some flashing lights before there is an accident outside Banwell school. North Somerset council get a move on, cars travel too fast through Banwell as it is.

I am a resident of Banwell and I am horrified that there is no flashing 20mph signs outside the school. My granddaughter attends a school in Weare Somerset where there are flashing lights, what is wrong with North Somerset council? The traffic can be horrendous through Banwell, get a move on North Somerset

As a tenant living on West Street
for the past 8 months, I can completely understand the frustration and concern of parents trying to get their children to Banwell school every morning. Queuing traffic every morning, is intent on getting through the very narrow passageway along the road to Castle Hill. Whoever is blocking this, needs to come down to Banwell to see firsthand, the difficulties that local people are facing. Surely safety comes first !!!!!!!

Banwell is so busy and dangerous for those on foot. It’s only going to get busier too.

The village needs flashing lights as the road is so unsafe. In London they have school streets 20mph. It’s more of a racetrack

I am shocked there are no safety signs for the school on this very busy road.

Absolutely agree ! Banwell needs for road safety signs generally especially outside the school. A speed camera is needed too !

This is definitely needed. Only this afternoon a car sped straight across the crossing as I collected my children from school.
