Please help make Houston a No-Kill city. Please help the abandoned animals that are dying in our streets. Please make tougher penalties for the people who are abandoning animals, animal cruelty, and neglect.

Dear Mayor, posing with the cat or dog of the week on Facebook is NOT doing something. Laws need to be better defined and ENFORCED. ACO does a poor job of responding to calls from citizens and more often than not takes the it's not my problem stance. Yes it is their problem. That's their job and my tax dollars pay their salaries. Spay and neuter programs are need all over the city and need to be supported by city funds until this problem has gotten under control. Take your head out of the sand. It's your city and it has a MAJOR problem.

It seems like we're are living in a Third World country this is preposterous. Something needs to be done about these poor animals. The cruelty to animals in Houston and the number of strays hasincreased tremendously. This is a pure reflection of our governing officials doing nothing

New mayor must make this a priority. This is a serious problem, and only when education and funding is directed to this issue will things start changing for the better.
