I am currently drafting a formal letter to the Gateshead Council cabinet members to request a review of these proposed funding cuts. The data collected through your signatures will be included as an appendix to demonstrate the scale of local objection.

The scale of this response has secured a formal meeting with the Council cabinet members to discuss our proposal. I am currently drafting a briefing document to present our case against the proposed service consolidation.

My uncle relies on these services every single day. Cutting this funding is just cruel and shows no respect for the vulnerable people in our town.
Bad idea. Keep it local.
Totally disagree with these cuts!!! Stop hitting the people who have the least. Very poor decision making by the council.
this is awful. how are people supposed to manage without local support? so many of us rely on this.
If these go, what happens to everyone that needs the equipment and training? It is short sighted and heartless.

Keep the services here in Gateshead where they belong. The council needs to find money elsewhere instead of picking on people who need help.
