In 2012, the terms of Michael Vick's ban on pet ownership will officially come to an end and he will be allowed to own a dog once more. This petition is to attempt to have this ban extended for the duration of his life. A person who violates the sacred trust of a companion animal in such a sick, violent, traumatic way should never again be allowed the pleasures of companion animals. Vick has even stated on CNN that if he hadn't been caught, he would still be fighting dogs! We cannot allow this monster--or other monsters of his ilk--be allowed to own an animal again.
