Save Haringey Youth Service
Haringey Council agreed a staggering 75% cut to its youth service on Feb 24th 2011. This would lead to a cut in youth centres and youth worker support to over 4000 teenagers in the borough.
Young people understand the government has forced councils to make cuts, but its up to locally elected politicians what those cuts should be. We know it is difficult but young people in Haringey already had 8 of their 13 youth centres close in September 2010 and now we have to endure a further 75% and we believe this is unfair and very dangerous to the welfare and safety of young people as well as the wider community.
We have been campaigning since October 2010 and now we need your help. Just 30 seconds of your time will help us show the council that the public believe this decision is wrong. You can opt for your name to be hidden and your email address will not be shown.
Feel free to add a message to Haringeys politicians too. Thank you for your support and you can keep upto date about our campaign by visiting our website by Clicking Here
