Dear Mr. Satya Nadella,

Congratulations on being the new Microsoft CEO. Indians are very proud of you.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 has served for over 7 years now. I use this browser every now and then after I format my machine, so that I can download FireFox and Chrome. But hey! we have IE 10 and 11 now, I can download Firefox and Chrome - 5 times faster. I'm sure IE 7 has had its time on the charts but IMHO, its high time that we put an end to this mighty version. We will always have good memories of IE 7 jokes, which by the way, have been obsolete too.

Being a UI Developer, I have seen and been through enough of IE. From CSS rendering to your Javascript Engine's performance. Despite the jokes that we come across, its not funny anymore.

Majority people around the globe aren't very big fans of the IE legacy. People who do not know what went wrong on the page when it breaks, and when they bad-mouth our clients, should understand that the 'wrong' started when they double clicked IE7 icon. While most people are now educated, we are still expected to satisfy the web user experience of the ignorant masses.

When you claim on the users' activity on IE 7, please understand - They are not real users. They are either our grand parents, or Microsoft employees, or perhaps they are just developers like me, trying to reload the page over and over again.

In short, no one likes and no one wants IE 7 on their systems. I do not understand what significance it holds for you to keep this version alive.

Please pull this it off. Its suicidal.
