Since Microsoft have failed to create a decent standards compliant browser with IE7 and had left its entire user base with a developmentally neglected browser (IE6) for almost half a decade, this petition asks Microsoft to include the option to install Firefox or Opera with all future OS releases. Packaging a massively flawed browser (IE6) with an operating system and then neglecting to correct major security issues is not acceptable practice. Also, the monopoly Microsoft has generated by including its own web browser with OS installations is grossly unfair. Sign this petition now â

IE6 is pure garbage. I spend half my day fixing broken sites because of that browser. About time they offer something that actually works.

Ridiculous that we are forced to use their browser if we want to get online. Firefox is miles ahead and everyone knows it. stop the monopoly.
